A Summer Spent on the Diamond

A Summer Spent on the Diamond

It's August...everyone is soaking up those last bits of summer - sunshine, late nights, sleeping in, neighborhood games and get-togethers, lake days, ocean waves and sandy toes.  For our family it was baseball bats, folding chairs, LOTS of ice water and hydration packs, frozen pickle pops, tents, deWalt fans and cooling towels - and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Both Pullin boys made their Dixie All-Star teams for their age groups and we spent the summer at the ballpark.

I couldn't be prouder of both of their teams - both competed and made it to their World Series tournaments - one in Center, Texas (outside of Nacogdoches) and one...lucky for us...right here in our hometown, Ruston, Louisiana.
It was HOT - temps over 100 for lots of their games - but these boys came to play!  Henry and Sam's teams both finished in 3rd place - playing teams from states including Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida - and the tournament had teams from states stretching all the way to Virginia!
As we reset and get ready for the school year, I am looking forward to hitting the ground running in a NEW studio (i'll be sharing more about this SOON...and I am SO excited). I have LOTS on the horizon for fall and holiday that I can't wait to share with you.
